Abandoned & Beyond

Photographer & Author - Angie Harris

Hello! My name is Angie, and I’m a photographer and author of the book Abandoned Missouri: A Haunted History.

My photography focuses on my love of exploring and documenting the beauty, history, and stories found in forgotten places. I enjoy photographing abandoned homes, buildings, and towns, but I also have a deep love for landscape photography and capturing the natural beauty of Missouri and beyond.

This Might Be Art - Volume 1

An Exploration of What Might, Technically, Be Art

This Might Be Art is a collection of photographs, observations, and the strange little moments that make you stop and think, “Wait… is this art?”

Part photography project, part creative experiment, and part commentary on the ridiculousness of being an artist, This Might Be Art is about finding beauty, humor, and meaning in unexpected places.

Volume 1 is the first collection in the series—a small, imperfect, very possibly-artistic zine celebrating the things that catch my eye and make me look twice.

But this is only the beginning. There will be more volumes, more ideas, more photographs, and more questionable examples of what might—or might not—be art.

Maybe it’s art. Maybe it isn’t. Either way, I took a picture of it.
